Danzante & Veronneau: Rhythms of the Heart
The beating of the heart persists through life’s journey. It experiences the highs and lows of new life, love, loss, pain, and all the complex emotions each phase of life brings. Through the music and dance collaboration of Veronneau and Company Danzante, the senses will be heightened as we explore life’s transformative moments.
Through a collaboration with jazz ensemble, Veronneau and contemporary dance group Company Danzante, broad cultural and artistic perspectives are blended into a production that harmonizes two artistic genres and explores the common ties that bind us as human beings.

Piel Morena Contemporary Dance (PMCD) is honored to present it’s 2015 Encuentro Series titled Latitude 25.6667•N, 100•3000W a performance that showcases the intricate and exploratory movement of Chicago’s contemporary dance company and guest Company from Washington D.C., Company Danzante. Latitude 25.6667•N, 100•3000W is a convergence of dance companies that views the importance of collaboration to communicate and be felt even when is below the surface.
